Lakes has a Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts and Volleyball faciliities and
is approximately 15 mins from World Drive, and the entrance to Disney
World, Epcot Centre, Disney MGM Studios, Typhoon Lagoon, Pleasure Island,
Disney Village and Animal Kingdom. The China Theme Park is also only 15
mins drive from the house.
There is also a Championship Golf Course, plus Tennis Courts at the Orange Lake Country Club which is approximately 10 minutes drive. Cocoa Beach and the Kennedy Space Centre are about one hours drive away. The journey to Tampa, and the white sands of the Gulf Coast, takes about one and a half hours. Orlando International Airport and downtown Orlando, are both within 30 minutes easy drive. There are many great restaurants along highway 192 offering very good value meals for all the family, the majority offer reduced prices for the under 10's and some do not charge at all! If you like to travel around then a visit to nearby Kissimmee will provide you with a large variety of restaurants spread over 6 miles offering many tempting dishes from around the world. |
